On March 12, Xiangtan reported a confirmed case of COVID-19.

As soon as possible, the leadership team of Xiangtan Central Hospital immediately organized an emergency coordination meeting with relevant departments, including the Epidemic Prevention and Control Department, Medical Services Department, Nursing Department, Procurement Center, Emergency Response Office, General Service Department and Security Department, to launch an emergency response plan for COVID-19 prevention and control.

At 5 pm on the afternoon of the 12^thMarch, we heard the order and move. Xia Hong, hospital CPC secretary, Yuan Haibin, deputy secretary and president, and Fang Ming, deputy secretary and head of the Discipline Inspection Commission, arrived at the south campus to guide the reception of patients transferred from the public health center.

At 19:48 on the evening of 12^th, under the unified deployment of the Hospital Party Committee and the hospital administration, 15 inpatients of the public health center began to be transferred to the south campus for further treatment, and all were transferred before 9 pm. Meanwhile, staff of public health centers are gearing up to receive confirmed COVID-19 cases.

From 2 pm on 12^thto 1 am on 13^th, under the leadership of Fang Ming and Cheng Peiyu, more than 20 staff were dispatched to carry out nucleic acid screening for 697 teachers and students and their families in the control area -- Xiangtan Biological and Electrical School. So far, 697 were tested negative.

Confirmed cases were received to the public health center at 10 pm on Monday for isolation treatment. Medical staff were deployed and protective materials were prepared, and the staff was under closed-loop management.

Xiangtan Central Hospital held a regular meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control at 9am on the morning of 13^th, and re-mobilized, re-deployed and re-implemented the prevention and control work of the hospital.

At 10 am on the 13^th, Yuan Haibin and Wu Mingxing organized the Medical Services Department, Nursing Department, Public Health Center, Department of Infectious Diseases, Department of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Department of Pharmacy and other departments to conduct a general consultation on the confirmed cases, and optimize the treatment plan from the aspects of medication and nursing.

At 11 am on the 13^th, after the regular meeting of COVID-19 prevention and control work, the hospital organized a special meeting on logistics support of the epidemic for contractors such as property management and canteen.

At 3 pm on 13^th, Xiangtan Central Hospital held a remote consultation meeting with Ouyang Yu, deputy director of the Medical Administration Department of The Provincial Health Commission, Director Hu Chengping, Zhou Zhiguo, You Baowen and other experts from the provincial COVID-19 prevention and control treatment team to discuss the condition of confirmed cases.

From 5 pm to 22:30 on 13^th, led by Yuan Haibin and Cheng Peiyu, more than 30 hospital volunteers were sent to three residential areas including Wuyue New Town, Baoan Jiangnan Town and Donghu Villa by three mobile NAT buses, which have a total of 12 collection stations to carry out nucleic acid collection for 2,254 residents.

Xiangtan Central Hospital conducted the second round of NAT on the controlled area Xiangtan Biological and Electrical School at 9 pm on the evening of 13^th.
